Stacy Artis, from the technology department, will be introducing Lightspeed Classroom for you to help with classroom management of Chromebooks. Lightspeed Classroom allows you to view your students' screens in one place and to control where the students go on the Chromebooks. Your classes will sync over from Infinite Campus and you will have full control of what each class is working on in your room during class time!
Each student in your room now has a Chromebook. Now, what do you do? Michael Vrabel will be here to advise you on tips and tricks of managing 1:1 devices in a classroom from a teacher's perspective.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
-Open Lightspeed Classroom to view their students' Chromebook screens
-Learn to control the Chromebooks and where the students can visit on the web
-Learn to give students a gentle nudge and send messages to students who need help
-Learn to share items and lock screens on a Chromebook to get control of a classroom
